Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 29, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how the personal author and professional brand website of Rev. Kristina R. Manuel, ORDM (“we,” “us,” the “Site”) collects, uses, and safeguards information. Contact us through the contact form for any privacy request.
Data controller: Kristina R. Manuel, 5900 Balcones Drive, STE 100, Austin, Texas 78731, United States.
Information We Collect
We practice data minimization and collect only what you choose to provide or what is needed to operate the Site:
Information you submit. When you use the contact form we collect your name, email address, inquiry type, and message. When you subscribe we collect your email address and your consent confirmation. We do not request or require a phone number.
Usage and device data. With your consent, we use Google Analytics to collect anonymized usage data (such as pages viewed, approximate region, browser type, and referring source). IP addresses are anonymized. Analytics does not run until you accept cookies.
Server logs. Our hosting provider may automatically process limited technical data (such as IP address and request metadata) to deliver and secure the Site.
How We Use Information
We use information to respond to your inquiries, deliver updates you request, maintain records of consent, operate and secure the Site, and understand aggregate traffic. We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not use it for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects.
Legal Bases (GDPR / UK GDPR)
Where the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation applies, we rely on: your consent (newsletter sign-up and analytics cookies, which you may withdraw at any time); our legitimate interests (responding to inquiries, securing the Site); and compliance with legal obligations where applicable.
Sharing and Processors
We share personal data only with service providers that process it on our behalf under appropriate safeguards: Netlify (website hosting and form handling), Resend (transactional and notification email), and Google Analytics (consent-based, anonymized analytics). We may disclose information if required by law or to protect rights and safety.
International Transfers
Our providers may process data in the United States and other countries. Where required, transfers rely on recognized safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent mechanisms.
Data Retention
We keep form submissions and subscription records only as long as needed for the purpose collected or as required by law, then delete or anonymize them. You may request deletion at any time.
Your Rights
All United States residents: wherever you live in the U.S., we extend the core privacy rights described here to every visitor, whether or not your state has enacted a specific privacy law. You may ask us to confirm, access, correct, delete, or provide a portable copy of your personal information, opt out of any sale, sharing, targeted advertising, or profiling, and appeal a decision, by using the contact form. We do not sell or share personal information, do not use it for targeted advertising or significant automated profiling, and will not discriminate against you for exercising any right.
EU/UK (GDPR): you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent; you may also lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority.
California (CCPA/CPRA): you have the right to know, access, correct, and delete personal information, to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information, and to limit the use of sensitive personal information. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined, and we do not use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) opt-out preference signal, and California “Shine the Light” requests.
Connecticut (CTDPA): you have the right to confirm and access your data, correct inaccuracies, delete data, obtain a portable copy, and opt out of targeted advertising, the sale of personal data, and certain profiling. You may appeal a decision on a rights request. We honor recognized universal opt-out signals such as Global Privacy Control.
Illinois (including Chicago): we do not collect, capture, or store biometric identifiers or biometric information as defined by the Illinois Biometric Information Privacy Act (BIPA), such as fingerprints, faceprints, or voiceprints. Should a security breach affect Illinois residents, we will provide notice consistent with the Illinois Personal Information Protection Act.
State comprehensive privacy laws: we honor the consumer rights granted under every applicable U.S. state privacy law, including California (CCPA/CPRA), Virginia (VCDPA), Colorado (CPA), Connecticut (CTDPA), Utah (UCPA), Texas (TDPSA), Oregon (OCPA), Montana (MCDPA), Iowa (ICDPA), Indiana, Tennessee (TIPA), Delaware (DPDPA), Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Minnesota (MCDPA), Maryland (MODPA), Rhode Island, and Kentucky, along with any other state privacy laws as they take effect. We also honor Canada’s PIPEDA.
Opt-out preference signals: when your browser or an extension sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as a valid request to opt out of any sale or sharing and to keep non-essential analytics disabled for that browser.
To exercise any right, use the contact form. We will verify and respond within the timeframes required by applicable law, and you may appeal an adverse decision through the same channel.
Cookies
We use a strictly necessary preference cookie and, with consent, analytics cookies. See the Cookie Policy tab and use “Cookie Settings” in the footer to change your choice at any time.

This Site is not a healthcare provider, health plan, or healthcare clearinghouse, and it is not intended to create a HIPAA-covered relationship. Please do not submit protected health information (PHI), medical details, or other confidential information through any form on this Site.

Cookie Policy
Last updated: May 29, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how kristinamanuel.com uses cookies and similar technologies, and how you control them. It supplements the Privacy Policy above.
What Cookies Are
Cookies are small files stored on your device. Similar technologies include browser local storage. We use them to remember your preferences and, with consent, to measure traffic.
Cookies We Use
Strictly necessary (preference). We store your cookie choice in your browser’s local storage (key: “km-consent”) so we can honor it. This requires no consent because it is essential to respecting your selection.
Analytics (consent-based). With your consent we use Google Analytics 4, which sets cookies (for example, “_ga”) to measure aggregate, anonymized usage. IP anonymization is enabled. We use Google Consent Mode, so analytics is set to “denied” by default and only activates after you accept.
We do not use advertising, retargeting, or cross-site tracking cookies.
Managing Your Choices
When you first visit, a banner lets you Accept or Decline analytics cookies. You can change your choice anytime using “Cookie Settings” in the footer. You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings; doing so will not affect your ability to use the Site.
Changes
We may update this Cookie Policy as our practices or the law change. The “Last updated” date reflects the current version.
